A Moment of Truth

“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin.”
---Romans 4:4-7
On Thanksgiving Day of 2018, Christ sounded the Clarion Call, giving an audible signal to His faithful and His true that demons are advancing and that the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were preparing to take wing. In a very real sense, Gabriel blew his horn.

Deep-space sonar stations around the world received this signal weeks later. The signal defied physics and baffled the world’s top scientists and astronomers. Reports of the signal were largely, and deliberately, ignored by the media and by political leaders. Predators that long ago abandoned Christ’s commands buried the story so as not to alarm the public and carried on with their personal agendas. (Ezekiel 28:2-5)

Christ warned that the days ahead will offer an “Abomination of Desolation”. (Matthew 24:15). He warned that men and women that have succumbed to demons will attempt to deceive His faithful about His arrival: “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘He is over here,’ do not believe him.” (Matthew 24:23) He also warned that His faithful and His true would suffer through tribulations unlike any before.

If you are reading this and have not yet turned your care and will over to Christ, I suggest you drop to your knees and ask His forgiveness for your sins. We are nearing the last days and He alone offers eternal life. The book of life is closing as the Clarion Call attests. This very moment is your opportunity to enter the manifest and avoid eternal damnation.

If you happen to be wavering, stop to consider that Christ knows your every thought and every intention. If you feel fear and trepidation in reading this, then it is not too late. Repent, ask Christ for forgiveness, and surrender your sin to Him. A new life awaits.

If you are reading this with disdain, you should know that this opportunity will not come around again. You are revealing yourself to Christ with your thoughts even as you read this. Therefore, I suggest you take time to quiet the voices in your head and ask yourself what lies beneath your feelings of scorn? If an answer doesn’t come to you, it’s likely that you fear letting go of your sin.

Many people bank on the belief that they will ultimately be judged on their intentions. This is a lie. We are all judged upon the merits of our deeds. As scripture reveals, “We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.” (2 Corinthians 5:10) If you are willing to forgo this opportunity for redemption, know that you are being judged by Christ this very moment.

It's no secret that the pathway to eternal life is narrow. Even those who openly profess their faith will be held to the fire for their actions. Christ warns that those among us with self-righteous indignation will be judged and dealt with accordingly. He reveals that upon the day of judgement: “many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’” (Matthew 7:22-23)

If you happen to be on the fence and fear what others will think of you if you were to abandon your sin and embrace Christ, I suggest you take an inventory of the people that come directly to mind and walk away from them completely. These people happen to have a foothold upon you and will drag them down with them. Again, the Clarion Call rang out and we are nearing the last days. You are facing a decision for all eternity.

If you are tempted to respond to this article with hatred and malice, you have been blinded by fear. If that is the case, then I pray for the wellbeing of those around you. Your thoughts and feelings are poisoned by your own sin, and there is nothing anyone can do for you.

For the men and woman who read this and are willing to surrender their sin to Christ and begin a new life, I can tell you that the journey that lies ahead of you is well worth it. As one whose life was nearly engulfed through my own sin, I can assure you that a life beyond your wildest imaginations awaits you on the other side. Within Christ you are never alone and that there is no need to fear what lies ahead.
“And he said to his disciples, ‘Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.’”
---Luke 17:1-2
