The Pain of Sin

"One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, 'Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!' But the other rebuked him, saying, 'Do you not fear Christ, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.' And he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.' And he said to him, 'Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.'”
---Luke 23:39-43
The film The Passion of the Christ depicts the pain and the suffering Christ endured after the Canaanites condemned Him to death.  He was beaten bloody with razor-tipped whips for nearly forty-five minutes. He was crowned with a laurel wreath from the olive branches from King David's root. He was stoned and spit upon as He carried a cross weighing more than four times His weight up Mount Calvary's forty-five degree embankment. He was given vinegar as a taunting effigy by Legionaries  and Centurions when He fell to his knees carrying the cross up mount Calvary. He was nailed to that cross with iron spearheads comparable to railroad spikes. Christ was also taunted by Barnabas and three of the four Legionnaires that nailed Him to that cross until His breath gave way.

During those hours of suffering and pain Christ experienced every sin every man, woman, and child after the flood ever committed. And He did so to free the sons of Israel and the second sons of Israel from their sin.

The Romans believed they would consume Christ in the afterlife and so too did the Apostle John. While Matthew and Mark testified that the thief crucified at Christ's left side professed his faith upon the Cross, John besmirched the man. The Apostle John only mentioned that he was a convicted thief. Everything within John's the Apostle's testimony from Chapter 14 on is laden with lies and gross distortions of the truth.

Take John 3:16 for example. In this passage John the Apostle proclaimed that Christ sacrificed His son because He loved the world. This is false. Christ offered his son to the Canaanites to cleanse them of their sins and reclaim the world. The Canaanites and their Roman occupiers resoundingly rejected Christ and hunted Christ's Apostles and their disciples to their death or enslavement afterward.

Beginning with Rome's emperor Nero, every Roman ruler leveraged John the Apostle's guilt-ridden confessional to bend and distort Christ's word for their own sinful desires and lusts. None believed Christ would ever return. This includes emperor Constantine I. He only freed Rome's Christian slaves to stave off invasion and retain his seat upon the throne.
"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of Christ and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.  No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of Christ and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will worship Him. They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for Christ will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
And He said to me, 'These words are trustworthy and true. And Christ has sent His angel to show His servants what must soon take place.'
'And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.'”
---Revelations 22:1-6
