Resentments

“Listen to my words, Lord,
Consider my sighing.
Listen to the sound of my cry for help, my Lord,
For to You I pray.
In the morning, Lord, You will hear my voice;
In the morning I will present my prayer to You and be on the watch.
For You do not take pleasure in wickedness;
No evil can dwell with You.
The boastful will not stand before Your eyes;
You hate all who do injustice.
You destroy those who speak lies;
The Lord loathes the person of bloodshed and deceit.
But as for me, by Your abundant graciousness I will enter Your house,
At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.”

Webster’s English dictionary defines a resentment as “a feeling of indignant displeasure or persistent ill will at something regarded as a wrong, insult, or injury.” They are obsessive feelings that eat away at our being and draw us away from Christ.
 
Some hatreds are warranted. (Amos 5:15) Sociopaths who feel no remorse for their actions, and recidivists that repeatedly violate our boundaries deserve no empathy nor sympathy. Even if they deny, they know of what they do. They knowingly and willfully breathe the lies demons have promised them. (John 8:43-45)
 
What we do with our resentments is another thing. Christ warned, “wide is the gate and broad is road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.”  (Matthew 7:13) Whether we realize it or not, sinful thoughts often accompany feelings of resentment. When these thoughts creep in, we must ask ourselves where they’re coming from and remain alert.
 
When Adam lied to Christ about why he had dawned a fig leaf, Christ condemned him to death for his sin. He also ensured that Adam’s progeny would never have the be capable of lying to him again. (Genesis 3)
 
Christ opened the door to Adam’s heart, and the hearts of Adam’s descendants. He unlocked every thought, and He remembers every transgression.
 
We are all descendants of Adam, and we our only afforded our transgressions through Christ’s grace. Demons sense ill feelings and rush to occupy our thoughts when those ill feelings occur. The ideas of an id, an ego, and a superego are a fallacy. The only voices we hear in our heads outside our own come from these demons. Those outside voices are designed to separate us from Christ.
 
On Thanksgiving Day of 2018 Christ sounded the Clarion Call. He gave an audible signal to His faithful and His true that the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were preparing to take wing.
 
The Book of Life has closed, and Christ’s return is imminent. In a very real sense, Gabriel has blown his horn.
 
The Clarion Call was picked up by astronomers’ deep-space sonar stations around the world. The signal defied physics and baffled the world’s top scientists and astronomers. Reports of that signal were largely, and deliberately, ignored by the media and by political leaders. Power brokers and sycophants that long ago abandoned Christ’s commands buried the story so as not to alarm the public.
 
Now more than ever, it is paramount that Sons of Israel and Second Sons of Israel cleanse themselves of their resentments. Ask Christ to forgive those who have harmed you irreparably and offer the wrongdoers their severance.
 
Write their names down if they return to your thoughts, for if they do they are infested with demons and wish to do you harm. Share the list of names with other Son of Israel and/or Second Sons of Israel. Ask Christ to deal directly with those who reappear and ask Christ to erase you from their memory.
